Meet Brandon
My name is Brandon Walters. I started Brandon Entertainment in 2009 after working for a DJ company in Chico, CA for 9 years. My interest in music started as a kid. Thankfully, I was exposed to all genres of music from Motown to Classic Rock. Some of my earliest memories include music from Fleetwood Mac and Creedence Clearwater Revival, Roy Orbison and The Rolling Stones. As I moved into my teens, I remember saving up for the newest cassette tape to wear.it.out! Growing up in the 80's and 90's exposed me to TONS of great music that I still can't get enough of. From Bon Jovi and Def Lepard to Boyz II Men and Salt 'N Pepa, I have always been eclectic in my music preferences. In middle school, I played in the school band which taught me about keeping a beat, flow, build ups, transitions, etc. My interest in becoming a Mobile DJ started in high school when I started to DJ at the local Boys & Girls Club. It's been over 20 years since High School and my passion, experience, enthusiasm and investment in the professional Mobile DJ Industry has come a long way. I regularly reinvest in my equipment to always have the best sounding and looking equipment at every event I do. As a "one man show", I know everything about my sound systems. I know what they can do and how they're supposed to sound.
It's very important for me to focus on quality of service rather than quantity of events. Your event is not just "another gig" to me. My reputation depends on it so I won't sacrifice how I do things to fit if it means cutting corners on quality! In my mind, it doesn't make sense to hire a DJ company that does several events in one day. How much personal attention can a company with several DJ's possibly give to every client? With Brandon Entertainment you will deal with me from the first phone call or email to the last song or announcement. Every time.
Although I have several years experience as a wedding/event DJ, I consider myself so much more than that. I also consider myself the Coordinator, Master of Ceremonies, music guy, sound guy, problem solver, listener, organizer, and maybe most importantly, stress reliever. I have had several clients tell me how helpful I was in relieving anxiety and worry about making sure things go the way they wanted them to. With a degree in Psychology and my full time career as a health care case manager, I know how to relieve stressful situations!
Last but not least, I'M MARRIED! I personally KNOW how stressful planning a wedding can be because I've LIVED IT!
